Air pollution due to forest fires is a growing threat throughout the Americas. Our Wings of Survival expedition from Alaska to Patagonia follows the progression of summer, with a June start in the High Arctic and trip completion nine months later at the southern tip of South America. Throughout the journey, we will monitor air quality to spotlight the risk of pollution for humans and migratory birds alike.
