Education is a key pillar of the Wings of Survival initiative. Our efforts focus on stimulating curiosity and care, by bringing young people on the expedition through virtual classrooms and on-the-ground engagement, in each of the 15 countries on route. Weekly 30-minute live streams – hosted by our partner Exploring by the Seat of your Pants – will be freely available to students from across the flyway for the duration of the 9-month expedition. Complementary educational materials will be made available to teachers. Communities on route will be invited to follow our journey and to reach out for in-person opportunities, including school visits, bird watching, and physical activities.
